suspect the seat has a defect, the cushion is reversed, less comfortable than the one i store tested

The seat cushion has 2 parts, and is harder in the seat area, and softer in the leg area, which makes for a very uncomfortable sitting experience, making me slide down forwards, can't sit long without it becoming painful. This is totally different from the same model i tested in the nitori store, which i think had the cushions in reverse, which makes sitting super comfortable. As is, there's no way i can fix it short of ripping out the foam from the cushions, as there's no zipper or access.
